Overview

Threadkeeper (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides SMS-powered waitlist management software for independent service professionals. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information you provide when joining a waitlist or using our platform.

Information We Collect

When you join a waitlist powered by Threadkeeper, we collect:

• Phone number — required to send you SMS waitlist notifications.
• Name — optional, used by staff to identify you on the waitlist.
• Notes — optional information you provide to the service provider (e.g., party size, special requests).
• SMS message content — inbound messages you send in reply to our notifications (e.g., STATUS, CONFIRM, CANCEL).
• Waitlist activity — timestamps of when you joined, were notified, confirmed, or cancelled.

If you create a business account on Threadkeeper, we also collect your name and Google account information via Google OAuth.

SMS Messaging & Consent

By checking the consent box and joining a waitlist, you expressly consent to receive transactional SMS messages from the service provider operating that waitlist via Threadkeeper. These messages include:

• Confirmation that you have been added to the waitlist
• Position and estimated wait time updates
• Notification when it is your turn
• Responses to commands you send (STATUS, CONFIRM, DELAY, CANCEL, HELP)

Message frequency varies based on waitlist activity. Typically you will receive 2–5 messages per waitlist visit.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time using any of the following methods:

• Reply STOP to any message from Threadkeeper. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to your number.
• Reply CANCEL to remove yourself from the active waitlist. This opts you out of the current session.
• Use the management link included in your confirmation message to cancel your entry.

To re-enable messages after opting out via STOP, reply START or UNSTOP.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Operate and deliver the waitlist service on behalf of the service provider you signed up with
• Send you SMS notifications about your waitlist status
• Process inbound SMS commands you send
• Display your information to authorized staff at the service provider location
• Improve the reliability and performance of our platform

No Sharing with Third Parties for Marketing

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your phone number or personal information to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Your information is shared only with the specific service provider whose waitlist you joined (so their staff can manage the waitlist), and with our SMS delivery partner (Telnyx) solely to transmit messages to your device. Neither Threadkeeper nor its service providers use your phone number for advertising.

Data Retention

Waitlist entries and associated personal information are retained for up to 90 days after the entry is completed or cancelled, then automatically deleted. Business account data is retained for the duration of the account and deleted within 30 days of account termination upon request.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit and access controls that limit who can view waitlist data to authorized staff at the relevant service provider.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
