1. About Threadkeeper

Threadkeeper provides waitlist management software for independent service professionals (tattoo artists, barbers, stylists, and similar). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Threadkeeper, whether as an end customer joining a waitlist or as a business operator using our platform.

2. SMS Messaging Terms

2.1 Program Description

Threadkeeper sends transactional SMS messages on behalf of service provider businesses that use our platform. When you join a waitlist and provide your phone number and consent, you will receive messages related to your place on that waitlist, including confirmations, position updates, ready notifications, and responses to commands you send.

2.2 Opt-In

SMS messaging begins only after you provide your phone number and check the consent box on the waitlist sign-up form. By doing so, you agree to receive SMS notifications from the service provider location via Threadkeeper. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.

2.3 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You will typically receive between 2 and 5 messages per waitlist visit (e.g., join confirmation, position updates, ready notification, and any command responses). No recurring marketing messages are sent.

2.4 Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.

2.5 Opt-Out (STOP)

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To resume messages, reply START or UNSTOP.

You may also remove yourself from a specific waitlist by replying CANCEL or by using the management link in your confirmation message.

3. Use of the Platform (Business Operators)

If you use Threadkeeper to manage a waitlist for your business, you agree to:

• Use the SMS messaging features only for transactional waitlist communications, not marketing or promotional messages
• Ensure customers on your waitlist have given explicit SMS consent before receiving messages
• Not use Threadkeeper for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable messaging regulations (TCPA, CTIA guidelines, carrier requirements)
• Keep your account credentials secure and notify us promptly of any unauthorized access

4. No Marketing Messages

Threadkeeper sends only transactional messages directly related to a customer's active waitlist entry. We do not send promotional offers, advertisements, or marketing content via SMS. Phone numbers collected through the waitlist sign-up process are not used for any marketing purpose.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Threadkeeper is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that SMS messages will be delivered without delay. Delivery depends on wireless carrier availability and other factors outside our control.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Threadkeeper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed notifications or waitlist errors.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
